Amanda Cupido is a podcast consultant, speaker, author and post-exit entrepreneur. She is the Executive Podcast Advisor at The Walrus, which acquired her podcast production company Lead Podcasting. Her books, Let’s Talk Podcasting: The Essential Guide to Doing it Right and Let’s Talk Podcasting for Kids are Amazon bestsellers and have inspired people around the world to embrace the medium for close to a decade.
Amanda is a TEDx speaker and on-camera host for the Ontario parliamentary TV channel. Her expertise in storytelling and thought leadership has led her to train executives and speak on stages internationally.
Amanda is passionate about empowering the next generation of media professionals. She helped redefine the radio courses at several of Canada’s top post-secondary institutions and is currently teaching Generative AI for Communicators at Seneca Polytechnic.
Previously, she worked as a radio reporter, producer and news anchor. Most notably, she was the first woman to be a program director at a talk radio station in Toronto.
Amanda has a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Master of Professional Studies in the Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oxford.
